WELCHES WEEKLY UPDATE!
MAY 30, 2025
Thank you to Angela Harrell for our beautiful mural in the elementary multi purpose room.
OUR WILDCAT WISDOM TRAIT FOR MAY IS HONESTY
This month our Wildcat Wisdom trait is honesty. Honesty means telling the truth. When we tell the truth, people can trust us.
WELCHES SCHOOL SPRING CONCERT
The Welches School Spring Concert is coming soon! It will be on Tuesday, June 3 in the elementary multipurpose room. All students in grades K-5 will perform, as well as beginning and advanced band students in grades 6-8. Doors will open at 5:45 pm for elementary students and families. The elementary concert will be from 6:00-6:45. Middle school band students should report at 7:00, and their concert will begin at 7:15. We are looking forward to sharing a fun evening of music with you!
LOST AND FOUND IS OVERFLOWING!
Our lost and found is filled to overflowing with lost items.
If you feel your student has left items at school, please come check it out.
You can come in any time the office is open.
We strongly suggest you label sweatshirts and coats with your students’ names.
STUDENT MEDICATIONS
If your child has medications in the school office, we will need you to come and pick them up before the end of the school year. Any medications that are left after June 13th will be disposed of. Please call us if you have any questions.
8TH GRADE PROMOTION – BABY PICTURES NEEDED!
8th Grade Families,
One of the favorite features of our 8th grade Promotion Ceremony is the Memory Slideshow. To make it special, we need pictures of the 8th grade students as babies or toddlers. Please send all digital pictures to our slide show coordinator, Julie Carrier, at julie.carrier@ortrail.k12.or.us
Please be sure to include the students' name in the subject line so we can ensure that every student is included in the slideshow.
If you do not have a digital copy but have a hard copy of the picture, send it in an envelope, with the student's name on the back of the picture and on the envelope. We will scan it, and then give the original back to you.
We will be communicating about upcoming planning meetings and promotion details in the coming weeks.
Thank you!
