WELCHES WEEKLY UPDATE!
JUNE 6, 2025
JUNE IS WILDCAT WISDOM RECAP
This month our Wildcat Wisdom trait is honoring our Wildcat Warriors! During these next couple weeks, students will be reflecting back on all of the traits we learned about this school year. Safety, responsibility, kindness, gratitude, integrity, honesty, compassion, respect, accountability…do you have what it takes to be a Wildcat Warrior?

The ceremony includes a processional, opening remarks, student speeches, memory slideshow, awarding of certificates, and recessional.
PICTURES: All students will receive a digital copy of the memory slideshow. When completing the permission below, please include an email address to send the memory slideshow and other available pictures.
DINNER & DANCE: The dinner and dance is for students and assigned chaperones only. They will be held from 7:00-10:00 pm at Alpine Events in Rhododendron. Only current Welches 8th grade students may attend the dance. Students CAN NOT leave Alpine Events during the dinner and dance.
DRESS: Since they are participating in a formal ceremony, students should dress up more than they would for school. Dressing as they would for a wedding or other formal family event is most appropriate. Please remember that this is not a black-tie event, so prom dresses or tuxedos are definitely not needed. Clothing should be school appropriate. Any strapless or spaghetti strap dresses or tops need a jacket or cover during the ceremony. Skirts that are fingertip length or longer are most appropriate.
