Registration for Welches Girls Volleyball is now open on the InTouch platform. The season starts Wednesday, September 3rd and is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls. There are no cuts for middle school sports.

Important Information to Know:

• Families must register online, through InTouch.   Link - InTouch  (There is detailed information below regarding this new system.  Please read and follow directions carefully)

• Each athlete must have a current sports physical on file with the school in order to participate

  • If you can’t get an appointment with your doctor, try the School Based Health Center at Sandy High School or Orchid Health in Welches.

• The participation fee is $55 per sport.

• Practice is every day, right after school 4:00-5:30 (Wednesday’s – students will  do grade checks and study hall).

• What to bring: Court shoes, volleyball knee pads, and a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothing that is suited for being physically active in the gym. Knee pads can be purchased at any athletic store.

• Game schedules will be handed out and are posted online on the Welches Schools website.

Details regarding our new InTouch ​Sports registration system:

The Oregon Trail School District has moved to a NEW online registration for sports. The OTSD will be using the InTouch platform, which allows you to sign in with your OTSD ParentVue email. Depending on if you have used InTouch it will prompt you to make a password, or use the password you have already created. Many families used this platform last year to pay for athletics and other activities. This platform is expanding and now is able to register our athletes for sports. 

 A new feature with InTouch allows families to register for ALL SPORTS at one time. However, this is not mandatory. FALL SEASON is approaching quickly and 6th, 7th & 8th grade families need to sign up their athletes for girls volleyball, no later than September. 5th @ 2:00PM. Girls volleyball will begin Wednesday, September 3rd, 4PM - 5:30PM. Please follow the steps below to register your athlete.

2. Username (email in synergy, the one that you gave the school). If you did not create an account last year, you will need to create a new account and password.

3. Sports Physical - registration requires an uploaded document, if your child's up to date physical is on file, you can just upload a note stating that. Your physical needs to be uploaded in a PDF format. Otherwise the school cannot see the entirety of the form. If you need support in creating a PDF, please see below information.

Create a PDF document:

1. Using the "Save As" or "Export" function (most common for existing documents): 

• Open the document you want to convert (e.g., a Word document, Google Doc, etc.).

• Go to "File" > "Save As" (or "Export" in some applications).

• Choose "PDF" from the file format options.

• Click "Save" or "Export" to create the PDF.

1. Using Adobe Acrobat:

• Open Adobe Acrobat (or the free Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and basic functionality). 

• Go to "Tools" > "Create PDF". 

• Select the file type you want to convert (single file, multiple files, scan, etc.). 

• Follow the prompts to convert the file and save the PDF.

• Many websites offer free online PDF conversion services (e.g., Adobe Acrobat online services).

• Upload the file you want to convert.

• Follow the website's instructions to download the converted PDF.
