REMINDER – NO SCHOOL 2/23/26

WILDCAT WISDOM FOR FEBRUARY IS RESPONSIBILITY

This month our Wildcat Wisdom trait is responsibility. Students will be learning that responsibility means making good choices, being dependable, and taking ownership of your actions.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR IS COMING TO WELCHES!

Welches Schools will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair March 2nd - 6th.

Online shopping will open on Monday, March 2nd and go through Sunday, March 15th.

We will also have in person shopping available for staff, students and parents.

The schedule for this will depend on the number of volunteers.  We will keep you updated on exact times.

IMMUNIZATION ALERT

Parents, please be aware that the school’s report of incomplete student immunizations was sent to Clackamas County on January 14th.  Clackamas County will send out letters to notify parents if their student is not current on their shots.  Students will be excluded from attending school on FEBRUARY 25th  if records are not brought up-to-date.

If your child is not up to date on vaccinations, you should have received an email or phone call from the school office notifying you of the immunizations your student needs.

If you choose not to vaccinate for personal, religious, or philosophical reasons, you can claim a nonmedical exemption to some or all immunizations. To claim a nonmedical exemption for children in child care, preschool, K-12, or college, visit healthoregon.org/vaccineexemption.

If your child has received immunizations recently, please bring immunization records to the office as soon as possible.  We DO NOT receive this information from health care providers, so we depend on you for shot record updates.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We are excited to be offering Welches Spirit Wear to Welches staff and families.

Welches Schools has partnered with BrewCrew Printing to offer a variety of Spirit Wear.  There are short and long sleeve t-shirts, shorts and sweats and hoodies, in a variety of colors and designs.

To place an order for Spirit Wear you will need to go to the BrewCrew webpage at

All spirit wear orders will be delivered to the school and sent home with students.

You can order items anytime during the school year.
