Hoodland/Sandy Mobile Library starts at Welches School - Thursday, Oct. 8

The Hoodland/Sandy Public Library will bring its Mobile Library to Welches School for a visit each month through the end of the 2026-27 school year, starting on Thursday, Oct. 8. Visits will continue on the second Thursday of every month!
The Mobile Library will bring an assortment of books and materials for students to check out, an opportunity to pick up materials on hold, STEAM Take & Make activities and more. Students will be able to access the Mobile Library during lunch and recess, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Students must have a library card in order to access the Mobile Library. If your student already has a library card, they can bring it to school on the days the Mobile Library visits.
For families who wish to sign up for Mobile Library access, the Hoodland/Sandy Library has an online Student Library Card Application (English version/Spanish version). A student card allows for limited access and includes check out of up to 5 physical books, place up to 5 holds and check out of up to 5 ebooks or eaudiobooks from the digital collection through the Libby app. Click on the application links for more information!
